Privacy Policy

Polapps (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the FaceOne AI mobile application (“App”). This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, how we share it, and your rights. We comply with applicable privacy laws, including GDPR where applicable.
1) Data Controller & Contact

2) What We Collect
- Account Data: name, email, Apple/Google user ID, internal user ID.
- Photos & Outputs: photos you upload and AI-generated images you create in the App.
- Purchase Data: receipts and identifiers from Apple App Store / Google Play for credits and subscriptions (we do not store full payment card data).
- Notifications Data: device push token (to send you notifications if you opt in).
- Log & Device Data: basic diagnostics and security logs (e.g., timestamps, IP at request time), solely to operate and protect the service.
3) How We Use Data (Purposes & Legal Bases)
- Provide the Service: authenticate accounts (Apple/Google), process photos with AI, deliver outputs, manage credits/subscriptions. Legal basis: contract performance.
- Security & Fraud Prevention: prevent abuse, secure our systems. Legal basis: legitimate interests and/or legal obligations.
- Customer Support & Communications: respond to requests, service notices, push notifications (with consent). Legal basis: contract performance and/or consent.
- Compliance: comply with tax, accounting, and legal requirements. Legal basis: legal obligations.
4) AI Processing with Google Gemini
To generate outputs, we send your uploaded photos (and relevant prompts) to Google Gemini (Google AI) for processing. Google acts as our processor for this purpose. We do not permit the use of your photos for advertising, user profiling, or model training unrelated to the requested generation. See Google’s documentation for their security practices. We implement access controls and encryption in transit.
5) Sharing
- Service Providers: hosting, storage, and AI providers (e.g., Google Gemini), customer support, analytics (if enabled), and payment platforms (Apple/Google). They process data under contracts and only as instructed.
- Legal & Safety: if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of our users and services.
- Business Transfers: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale, your data may be transferred in accordance with law.
6) International Transfers
Your data may be processed in countries outside your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect your data.
7) Retention
- Account data: kept while your account is active and for a limited period after deletion for compliance and anti-fraud (typically up to 90 days unless law requires longer).
- Photos & outputs: stored in your account until you delete them or delete your account; backup/log fragments may persist for a short period.
- Purchase and invoice data: retained as required by tax/accounting laws.
8) Your Rights
Subject to law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your data, and to object to certain processing. You can also withdraw consent for notifications at any time in your device settings. To exercise rights, contact info@faceone.online. You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
9) Children
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us to delete it.
10) Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
11) Do We Track Users?
We do not use personal data for cross-app advertising or tracking users across third-party apps and websites. If we ever change this, we will request consent and update this Policy.
12) Account & Data Deletion
- Delete Account: use in-app controls or visit our mobile application.
- Delete Photos/Outputs: you can delete uploaded photos and generated images in the App.
- We will delete server copies within a reasonable period, subject to legal retention and security back-ups.
13) Changes
We may update this Policy. We will post the new version here and update the effective date. Material changes may also be notified in-app.
